Terms of use
Last updated July 30, 2026
ForkFam is a food map for families. By using it you agree to these short, human-readable terms.
Your account
You need an account to use ForkFam, and you're responsible for what happens under it. Adults create their own accounts; kid profiles are created and managed by a parent and have no login.
Your content
Everything your family adds (places, ratings, notes, photos) belongs to you. You give us permission to store and display it to your family (and to others only where you explicitly share it). Don't upload content that's illegal or that you don't have the right to share.
Community rules
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on ForkFam. Nothing you write or upload may be hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable, and you may not impersonate another family. A filter blocks objectionable wording before it can be posted, and every place another family's content appears you can report it or block that family outright.
We review every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and remove the accounts of people who post it. Report something directly in the app, or email support@forkfam.com.
Sharing
Share links and the public family profile are opt-in. Anyone with a share link can view that list, so share thoughtfully. The family owner controls whether the family profile is public.
The service
ForkFam is provided as-is, without warranties. We work hard to keep your data safe and the service running, but we can't promise zero downtime. We may update features over time. If we ever plan to shut down, we'll give you a way to export your family's data first.
Fair use
Don't abuse the service: no scraping other families' data, no attempting to access what isn't yours, no using ForkFam to harass anyone. We can suspend accounts that do.
